Carrie Nelson, Spa Owner



Carrie Nelson has always been a beauty product junkie. This California-girl’s mission is to promote healthy skin and teach her clients to protect and preserve their natural beauty. Her experience working with plastic surgeons, cosmetic nurses and other aestheticians gave Carrie the courage to embark upon her own beauty journey.

Licensed for Advanced Skincare at Ms. Marty’s Beauty Academy in San Francisco Carrie secured a job working with a prominent plastic surgeon in Marin County, Ca. For several years her responsibilities included chemical exfoliation of the skin for age spots and photo damage treatments. Carrie was given the opportunity to work with the most cutting edge techniques and products when she became partner in a Laser Center.

In 2005 Carrie introduced innovative skincare services and products when she opened Biondina in Mill Valley, Ca. Founded on serious anti-aging skincare treatments Carrie and her handpicked staff offer luxury services and coveted beauty products in an intimate boutique style clinic. “Our client leads a busy life is well maintained and loves to indulge in a little pampering in an intimate, relaxing environment.” The cozy space is rich with style and personality. Clients can enjoy a cocktail while receiving a treatment, some services even include dinner reservations or a night on the town. “We want our clients to look and feel fabulous, if we can help accomplish that inside or outside the spa we will.”

At Biondina clients enjoy a modern beauty experience using state of the art Dermaglow mircodermabrasion system and oxygen machine. Carrie’s most requested services include: The 4layer Facelift and Oxygen Facial. Specializing in chemical peels, she is able to give her clients the most visible and immediate results. “I am are loyal to high-end products Skinceauticals and In Fiore.” says Nelson. “Still, I’m constantly incorporating new products to the mix.” New to Biondina is Organic Options. Carrie hand-mixes organic fruits and vegetables to create organic facials and peels. When she’s not busy planning events and parties like Beauty for the New Economy, a beauty seminar where she and her staff show clients economical ways to keep your glow until your next appointments she is working on formulating her own skincare product line.
